:: Sunday, November 7, 2010 :: Left Out
Lunch: With Dad to Sugar Land version of Chinatown. Ran into someone from high school. Saw him walk by but almost missed because my back was to door. When about to leave, I go over to say hi. Weird conversation. Short. Very short questions and answers. Ended with him saying will catch up online. It won't happen.
Later: Exploring Facebook. While I don't post there often, I do look at it sometimes. Saw that coworker had put up some pictures of her bday weekend. We aren't friends - more like acquaintances. She had a group at St. Arnolds. Lots of other (but not all) coworker friends there. Guy who invited me to St. Arnolds and girl he flirts with often were in the pictures. See my previous birthday weekend post about feeling left out with wedding and dinner. Know that I should not feel left out here because it is her birthday and she can invite who she wants. It is not as though I would invite everyone I knew either. Just, I notice it.

:: Friday, November 5, 2010 :: 3 x (by) 3s at Trivia
(Almost) Every Thursday night for a while now, since about January or February, summer excluded, I have been going to Trivia Night at a Montrose area bar with coworkers. It's a $3 buy-in and your table gets a plate of food during first round and a round of shots between third and fourth round. The winning table gets the pot while second and third get a pitcher/shots or sometimes another prize. In the past, my table has won once and gotten second or third twice.
Today, we got third. We were second most of the night. Usually I can only get about one per round but this time, I actually knew a few. It was a good night. Food, drinks (we got another free round for being third) and most of all, good company.

:: Wednesday, November 3, 2010 :: Bummed
Today, I got a comment that I have seemed more bummed of recent (probably about 1-2 weeks or so). From the guy mentioned in the birthday weekend post. I don't mean to be but I find it very difficult to "fake it til you make it." If I feel off, it shows.
Been pretty bummed since birthday weekend.
